Y – Yoga

I offer private yoga-sessions

The class opens with chanting a Mantra, a meditation practice or a certain breathing technique to centre and to set up for the class. Before the practice, we take care by warming up the muscles to prevent from injuries. The class closes with Shavasana accompanied by sounds of the singing bowls, a Reiki/Massage-treatment or just quietness, enabling deep relaxation of the mind and body. Ideal for beginners and intermediate.

I offer various styles of yoga, including:

Hatha Flow:

Hatha Flow Yoga combines traditional Hatha Yoga postures joined together on a smooth and continuous movement synchronized with our breath. By practicing and moving from one pose to the next, we build strength, flexibility and balance. Consciousness and concentration will drive us throughout the energetic and at the same time calming class.

Yin Yoga:

Immerse yourself in a world of relaxation and regeneration with Yin Yoga, a practice where poses are held for longer periods to deepen connection with ourselves and stimulate the meridians (energy channels), bringing balance to the body and mind. Yin yoga is based on three essential principles: Boundary (the point at which we feel a sensation, but not yet pain), stillness, and time. This practice is a gentle, meditative experience aimed at releasing deep tension and creating space. Through conscious breathing and mindfulness, we reduce stress and tension.

Hatha:

Hatha Yoga emphasizes traditional asanas with a slow pace and no flow, allowing for longer holds to build strength. The word “Hatha” is derived from “Ha” meaning “Sun” and “Tha” meaning “Moon”, with “Yoga” translating to “Union/Harmony”. Therefore, Hatha Yoga seeks to harmonize the two fundamental energies within our system: the activating, warming energy of the sun, and the building, cooling energy of the moon.
